On June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, my family and I went to the Book Expo. It was in NYC {New York City} and it is really fun.
1) You get to get the books.
2) The books are free.
3) You get the books signed by the authors.
While we were at New York, we saw 2 Broadway plays, "Legally Blonde" and "Mama Mia". They were my 1st Broadway shows, so it was extra-exciting. Next year, the Book Expo will be in Los Angles. It was all very fun!

Thanks for the scoop on the Book Expo! Your mom mentioned it and the trip too and I'm WAY jealous because it sounds like something I'd love! I've never been to New York and I'm over 30... lucky you!
So, if the Book Expo is in Los Angeles next year, I'll be able to go. YAY! (I live in the Los Angeles area.) And if I get to go, I'll do a write up too. =)
Sounds like you had a really cool time and got to see and do a lot of interesting things. Very jealous, we don't get fun stuff like that over here, and if we do I must miss it.
