Rosemary is lost and alone when her greatly loved mother dies. With no place to go, she disguises herself as a boy and calls herself Rowan, and sets off the find her father whom she's never met - the legendary Robin Hood. The only friends she's ever known are the woodland animals, so she goes off alone on a dangerous journey through Sherwood Forest. With her newfound friend, a wolf-dog named Tykell, she finds him, but he is not at all as she had thought. Will he accept her? Will he give her a home?
